TEXT

Fireworks has some really cool text settings.

It allows you to edit and adjust text in many different ways.

Adding Text to Your Image

Youll use the text tool to place text in an image.

  1. Select the text tool.
  2. Click in the image

The text window will pop-up. This is where youll write all your text. The Following image illustrates your test options.

You must have text highlighted in the Text Editor to change its properties.

Resizing the Text Box

When text is placed in your image, it is kept in a box. You can resize that box to better make it fit your image. Just grab the blue handles with the black pointer and drag. The box will resize and the text will reposition itself.

Applying Effects and Transforms to Text

You can apply any number of fills, strokes, effects, and transforms to text.
